These guys did a good job getting the travertine floor back to where it was about nine years ago. They didn’t get the scratches out that I pointed out but the furniture rearrangement hid them somewhat. Of particular note was their care in not leaving me a mess to clean from baseboards etc. That alone is worth the price of admission! Alex was very informative and friendly in sharing his expertise with the customer.
Albert was amazing at cleaning and sealing my travertine floors! We had lived in our home for sale years and for some reason, I had never done this until we were ready to move… Wish I had done it so much sooner! Albert cleaned and sealed a couple of pieces of stone to show me what the end result would be so that I could make the best choice on the different steps I would like to do to my travertine. The piece of mind of having it sealed is awesome too! Thanks guys for everything
AriStone came out to bid and were honest on what was needed. Others that bid wanted to do work that was really not needed. AriStone's pricing was competitive and Albert who did the work was awesome and hardworking. My travertine floors look so good. Did not realize how dirty and dull they had become. My large steam shower turned out great. Could not be happier and would use again.
We specialize in professional travertine cleaning using a proven 4-step process that removes years of embedded grime, stains, and discoloration — while preserving and protecting the natural beauty of your stone floors.
We offer our most thorough cleaning or it's free because we use only state of the art equipment and chemicals. We start the cleaning by spraying our stone safe cleaner on the travertine tile, after letting it dwell we agitate it with a rotary buffer to loosen the dirt and debris that is deep in the travertine. Second step, is our powerful power washing system, we use a truck mounted unit with a 15 inch spinner that power washes your travertine at 1500 psi and 220 degree water, cleaning and sanitizing your travertine floors back to their original beauty.
We start by professionally cleaning both the travertine and grout with our state of the art Truckmount equipment which power washes the flooring, removing all dirt and debris. After the cleaning we apply a our travertine sealer to floor by sprayer, allow it to dwell into the travertine and grout. Then we buff any excess off leaving your travertine tile and grout clean and protected.
Our full restoration package is the best of the best, this service will get your travertine tile to the highest shine and clarity possible. Again we start of by thoroughly cleaning all the travertine flooring. Once the travertine tile is clean we will run a 4 step honing process, first is a set of discs at 400 grit, second is discs at 800 grit, third we will use our semi gloss diamond resin pad, fourth step in the honing is the high shine diamond resin pad. After honing and we have achieved the clarity we needed, we will polish the travertine tile with our polishing powder that reacts with the calcium in the stone to create a higher density and high shine surface. Once the polishing is done we will use our stone soap to neutralize and water proof the travertine, after that we will fill any holes that can properly be filled. Once the hole fill is dry we will seal the entire flooring to protect it against staining and discoloration.
We recommend professional cleaning and sealing every 12–24 months depending on foot traffic, pets, and spills. Regular maintenance protects the stone from etching, staining, and dullness.
Travertine is a natural stone, which means it’s softer and more porous than ceramic or porcelain. It requires special care, proper pH-balanced cleaners, and professional sealing to prevent permanent damage.
No. Acidic or harsh cleaners can etch and damage the surface, leaving dull spots or permanent marks. We use safe, stone-specific products designed for travertine.
Cleaning removes dirt, grime, and buildup, but scratches and etching may require honing or polishing services to restore a smooth, even finish.
Yes, we offer full-service travertine care including deep cleaning, honing, polishing, and sealing to restore both shine and protection.
You can walk on the stone immediately after cleaning. If we seal your travertine, we recommend allowing 2–4 hours for the sealer to cure before heavy foot traffic.
Because travertine is porous, it absorbs liquids and stains easily. Sealing creates a protective barrier that prevents damage, extends the life of your floors, and makes future cleaning easier.
